Bring to boil on high heat. Remove from heat. Quickly stir in polenta with wooden spoon. Cook on medium heat 5 min., stirring constantly. Immediately spread polenta onto 2 lightly oiled large rimmed baking sheets. Cool completely. Use 2-inch (5-cm) round cutter to cut 48 polenta circles from each pan. Transfer to clean baking sheets. Cover with plastic wrap until ready to use. Step 2: Sausage Mixture: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet on medium-high heat; add onions and sausage. Cook 3 min. or until sausage is browned, stirring occasionally. Stir in sauce. Bring to boil on high heat. Simmer on low heat 5 min. or until sausage is cooked through, stirring occasionally. Step 3: Assembly: Heat broiler to LOW. Brush polenta circles with additional oil. Season with additional salt. Broil 7 min. or until a light crust forms on top.
