Cover with boiling water. Let stand 20 min. Drain and finely chop mushrooms. Step 2: *To make bread crumbs, pulse fresh bread slices in food processor to fine crumbs. Step 3: Combine mushrooms, bread crumbs, egg, onions, herbs, garlic and salt in large bowl. Add meat; mix well. Shape into 18 (2") meatballs. Step 4: Meanwhile, heat broiler to HIGH. Arrange rolls on large baking sheet. Top with cheese. Broil 4-5 inches from heat 2 min. or until toasted and cheese is melted. Step 5: Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in extra large skillet on medium heat.
