Season with salt and ground black pepper. Cook 5 min. or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in sauce and thyme. Bring to boil; cover. Cook on low heat 15 min. Step 2: Meanwhile, bring water to boil in separate large saucepan. Add polenta while whisking constantly. Cook 30 min. (or cook 15 min. for cornmeal), stirring frequently.
